Drupal 7

With Drupal nearing a release candidate for version 7 our team decided to continue building our new themes for Drupal 7 only. This means that the new themes will have advanced functionalities that can be combined with e.g. aMember, which is also soon going to version 4.

Drupal, at the moment we are writing this story, is still in alpha stages but the list of todo's is getting shorter. We already tested the alpha versions of Drupal and can say that we are anxious for it to go release candidate. All current themes for version 6 will be ported to version 7. As soon as they are ported we will halt updates on version 6 templates.

H2O Solutions theme entering Beta

Finally this theme is entering into its beta phase. This mean that it will be put up for download shortly. We are looking forward to receive feedback and we will soon put the theme on the Drupal site as well. In the mean time we also started with the creation of a Drupal 7.x version of this theme.

We get a lot of requests from people to create a social networking site, or a site that will enable them to publish and sell. The most commonly used script for this in combination with aMember is Drupal. Drupal is very flexible and it allows perfect integration without any problems. The best is yet to come! Because Drupal can be used for small and big sites it doesn't really matter. Drupal is suitable for sites with just a couple of pages, but it is also suitable for large sites that have millions of visitors.
